Maintenance and Cleaning of WPC Fencing
Oakio wood-plastic fence is made of a mixture of oak powder and plastic. It is not damaged by mold and insects easily in daily use. Compared with wood fences, it is easier and more convenient to clean and maintain. This is also the material why it is becoming more and more popular.
Wood-plastic fences can be cleaned and maintained without additional painting and dyeing. Usually what we need to use are: soft brush, clean water, soap and broom. First use a broom to remove dust and debris on the fence, then wash it with soapy water and a soft brush, and finally wash it with water to renovate your wood-plastic fence. When cleaning, if there is wear and tear on the fence, it will disappear naturally after about 10 weeks. In addition, when oil stains are found, they should be cleaned up as soon as possible to avoid staining. The longer it takes to clean up stubborn stains on the composite board, the higher the cleaning cost (time and money).
Regular cleaning and maintenance is required for any outdoor composite buildings material. Our wood plastic fences are generally cleaned and maintained 1-2 times a year to protect the appearance. We do not recommend using high-strength cleaners to clean your fences. At the same time, wood-plastic fence cannot be sanded either, which may damage the surface of the fence.
